A Visit From Mrs. Claus

One of my favourite holiday traditions that we started when our boys were born was having Mrs. Claus make a visit to the house.  Why should Santa get all of the glory?

Mrs. Claus slips into the house in the wee hours of the morning on December 24 and leaves a fresh set of pyjamas along with a favourite Christmas book at the breakfast table for each of the boys.

By bedtime our bellies are full from the shortbread cookies we’ve made for Santa and the boys anticipate his arrival while reading their new Christmas stories.

Christmas tales, twinkly lights and three excited children snuggled in their pjs.  What could be better than that?

No one has come out with such idea (so far that I know )…Mrs Claus! Lets make it something to be think about, talk about and accepted by the public especially MR CLAUS himself… 😀 Congrats Ladies..

  2. Oh my gosh, what a brilliant idea! We do the Christmas PJ thing, and usually just read from the collection of Christmas stories we have (that don’t get enough play as it is because the kids only want to read them during the month of December, lol) — but the added touch of having Mrs. Clause drop them off is too cool. 🙂

  3. I love it too! The boys always get new pjs on Christmas Eve when they come back from my mom’s, but I never thought about having them be a gift from Mrs. Claus!
